ToS Build?

Hey guys, I'm almost 50 on my BS and I was gonna use my free 50 on a ToS, but what's a good PvP build? Like the one with the Self centered AoE + Invuln/Heal shield?

There is a couple different routes you can take as a ToS. Its a very versatile class. I was a strong proponent of the self-centered AoE build/Storm field build but I am currently trying out a bubble build. I don't have enough experience on the bubble build to say whether its any good or not.

I can tell you about the SF spec though. SF is nice because you are in the thick of things, all the time, to do damage. Its also the biggest weakness, because you die quickly. Its a kamikaze build, where you pop SF/Totem CC some people and hope for the best as you DPS them down as quickly as possible. Its difficult in mini-games, almost to the point of being frustrating at times. But if you get some good DPS/Soldier support to keep things busy, you can wipe the floor with everything.

The biggest thing I wanted with my SF spec is a charge lol.

You are also close to the action, so you can get your heals off as opposed to playing like a demo, so no one can get your large HoT.

Here are the two basic builds. you'll want to tweak them somewhat

the bubble is the spec i always have the most trouble with . A good bubble specced tos can kill an entire mini team by himself.

FYI good does not mean any jackass with bubble specced.

Eilo runs a spec with both the bubble and aoe. I reccomend you try that at 80.

Here is my TOS bubble/AOE build that I am using right now. The bubble as saved my life a whole bunch of times.

actually, I like that last build a lot. Moving a couple points, but overall I think its superior to what I posted for AoE/Bubble spec.

I like grounding charge, and also pretending I will be aware enough to see someone on my team get stunned/rousing shock.

Yeah, I have really turned around on my opinion of serpent transmutation.

Its clutch. Trick is to know when to use it and when to save it.

In another mini-

I had picked up the flag, made it just passed their spawn point. Killed me. I self rezzed, picked it back up, then ran to our capture point. Then my team was able to kill the flag carrier.

So the whole opposing team ran to our flag room. It was me, all alone 3-4 enemies. Popped serpent transmutation and just sat there on the capture point waiting for our flag to return and laughed at their helplessness.
