Hey Vic, what do you run on Salvation? Is this anything close?

Also, where are you?

I don't know much about BS, but I do know that Rune of Aggression is a 40% team wide DPS increase. Consider fitting that in somehow.

Also, Manifestation of sun is like a +100% self only DPS increase when you do the internal bleed combo.

Orly? I may have to take a look at it then... but then again, I'm usually running Forest for the amazing armor increase and Winter for the stamina drain. Do you know how long this +100% buff last?

EDIT: +75% weapon damage for 6 seconds.

I got from 176 to 251 DPS with desert bloom

If I do my heal, rune of aggression, and the mani of sun, I hit 321 DPS on my 59 BS.

Also, Rune of Aggression procs physical ruin, in addition to a 40% buff to damage. It lasts 15 seconds with a 45 second recast time. Team wide effect.

Am I crazy or does a max of 6 secs sound like a waste?

That's only the final proc. It also puts a DoT on the enemy. Also, even if you don't get the desert bloom to proc, it will act like an self-centered AoE spitfire for about 30 seconds.

6 seconds against a cloth wearer is alot.

1 cc and it's gone, and I think you'd have trouble getting in a shrewd blow regardless. The BS has so many click this before that kind of shit that 6 seconds seems a waste, BUT I could be way off and obviously if done right could turn the tide of a fight.

alot of micro management(click this before this) are instant cast and can be tied to a another ability thru macros so you only have to click one button to activate 6 abilities if they are all instant cast. Makes things alot easier.

A lot of the stuff are 1sec cast actually, like blue heal, manifestations, rune, ... They all increase your DPS if you're specced right, but you do have to take the time to activate them.

Like Krig said, Rune of Agression is a MUST. +40% dmg to your whole group is not something to ignore.

I'm personnaly unsure about the Manifestation of the Sun. The fact that you end up having time to do only 1 combo while the buff is on ( and thats if you don't waste time and don't get CCd ) makes it less tempting for me (especially the part where you need to constantly use your bleed combo to activate the dmg buff for your next combo... Kind off a waste of time and dmg here). I like the Forest one a lot for the 2-3k Armor buff that build up over time and last a good amount of time. The -10% resist to all physical dmg debuff is nice also.

The AoE spitfire effect by itself is worth it IMHO, but - as stated earlier - I am a fail shaman.

This is the build I ran when I was in exo. This will save your ass alot because of the Iron hide. <3 the bubble. And this was more defensive build and let me stay alive longer due to the bubble.

Now since I have taken BS outside of exo and pvping with players that are more skilled I switched to a more offensive build

Current Build

Couple of key points about the BS. Its the hardest class to master. So much to do, dps, combo, manifestations, debuff, and most importantly heal.

Tip always have a manifestation running at all times. No excusses we have four we can always have one up. If you plan on having your bs to be a pvp toon you need silence. That is a must have, your only gimping yourself and team by not having it. So many casters in this game if you can shut them up for 6sec with some focus fire you are doing your job well as a BS.

Sun is great against rouges
Forest is great against rouges and casters
Winter is great against rouges and casters, especially casters. No staminia= no running
Spirit is just meh, its a so so feat, more aimed at pve because most people dont have it spect out for the extra 5% damage mitigation.


Pro tip on Sun. you have 6 secs to destroy who ever. What I do is hit the sun, it procs. At the end you have 6secons to destroy someone aka damn near one shot. What I do is when its about to proc I hit Rune of agression, hit a blood flow, 6 seconds of party time to begin, then land either a CA or a SB, usually I go with CA because its quick and I can Land 2 CA(crush armors in 6secs) vs 1 SB. You will see the caster rouges heath Drop.


Lastly you dont want a macro to click your instant cast abilities. For example you only want to hit renewal when you start your combo finisher (+100% melee weapon damage for the next hit)

You only want to hit lycantropic bite when your 50% health to get a 10% life tap

You only want to hit your Runes resilence and resistance, when your catching spell damage.

So eveyrthing is very situational as a bs. you have to be quick and alert and have everything key bind.

This is why I say BS is the hardest class because it so situational. But its the most rewarding. A decent BS can change the outcome of a fight.

Also a BS destroys all melee toons, not even close. exceptions being sin. but a BS should win this.

the only toons BS can not beat really is Necro and Demos, its possible but very difficult.
