| Well, I guess this game was going to fuck up at some point.
I'm glad they didn't call it 'engineer' and make blunderbuss wielding gnomes and dwarves, but going straight modern warfare is just as much a sore thumb. It doesn't fit at all IMO. I like the name commando, but rocket launchers and gas masks destroys the awesome fantasy ambiance they've created. Should be more of a batman style utility role than paramilitary, with hard grinding prototype weapons than refined technology.
Looks like guardian is the other new class? Reads like a pally, which is fine, but like other pallies it sounds high maintenance and a lot of meta-management. I love health regen abilities though, but they usually aren't worth it in the min/max sense. I could see myself playing a staff wielding, regen guardian if they are worth it, though.
Still love the way this game is shaping up more than any other we've talked about, but that commando is a major wtf for me. Put it in another genre and cool, but here it just plain doesn't fit. | |

| Nope, had no clue. I'm on my phone at work and had read earlier in the week they were gonna have an engineer at some point. Made sense to me considering they had artwork and whatnot, and game developers ruin games. My apologies GW2, my apologies. | |
