My fellowship is 35, but do not have any of those skills. Half of 35 is 17.5, so I succeeded, but just barely. I think Wes is an arbitrator, which does not have one of those skills mentioned in the starting book. I don't know if he picked it up.

Not trying to GM here, but I will point out that we have been in active combat alongside these troopers, and brought most of them safely back, having eliminated xenos.

Also Constantine is acting irrationally (in my characters views anyway) and has little/no interraction with the troopers as far as being in combat alongside them.

GM discretion on bonus/penalties. If I shouldn't do this(point out possible bonus/penalties to rolls) in the future, let me know Joe, not trying to step on anyone's toes.

Krig I always welcome any suggestions or ideas in my games, that does not mean i will use them but i always welcome them.

yes the response from allen was automated

yes there is one roll that counts for both of you and krig has made it.

I though about giving you a bonus based on the things you pointed out above, but i did not. for the following reason yes he is acting out but he has not shown any true signs of threat other then being a standard loudmouthed ass. the guy in charge of the troopers is inexperinced and would likely be very cautious about siding against any acolyte, and the guards were amused by his dumbass antics and not taking him very seriously. Had he made a move towards violence they would be more on your side.

Also since the first roll has been made I do not think it would be fair to apply any bonuses or negitives.

I would be open to discussion on this but in OOC fairness, i cant adjust rolls after they have been made. In the future feel free to ask for bonuses or negitives before you roll and there is a posability you will change my mind and get them.

At this point, I just want him incarcerated. We will inform Jermaine of his actions and see what he recommends. I will recommend to Jermaine that he be given a purity seal and see if he starts acting normally/making sense. If necessary, I will pay for it/ "owe" Jermaine for it. Not that I wouldn't do anything for Jermaine already, as I am his acolyte.

In retrospect, I probably should have rolled a cleric. lol.

I would like to change my hunting rifle to a sniper rifle. There would be no mechanics change, but I will feel less like a hillbilly and more like an assassin. I plan on getting a telescopic sight for it once we get on planet(hopefully), as well as some laser sights for my pistols.

Also, is there no way to increase basic weapons training. Its not listed in ANY of the advancement schemes that I can find.

For example, say I wanted to purchase a second level of basic weapons training(SP) so I have a +5 to skill checks. Its not listed anywhere that I can find in the rulebook.

Its like you are trained in it or not, which doesn't make sense to me. I've shot pistols/rifles and you DO get better with experience and practice with specific weapons vs overall, as if I trained my ballistics skill.

I can fire a flint lock rifle great, but if you gave me a modern day weapon, with a clip/magazine, I would have a little trouble at first; I have never used one before. Under the current system, it seems like they would both be covered under basic weapons training(sp).

In my opinion Advancements to basic weapons/pistol/las/flamer, etc training should be allowed to indicate familiarity with different types of said weapons as well as becoming more accustomed to the weapons you normally use.

all weapons are covered by BS skill or templates. So if you want to increase your chance to hit just increase BS. I understand your point but i thikn it is done this way to keep the BS skills from getting to high.
You are welcome to call your rifle anything you want, but most sinper rifles are hunting rifles with the expection of the 50cal most "sniper rifles" use a .308 which is a hunting round.
When you take into account he bonuses you can get from attachments aiming BS and other modifiers, i think there is a talent that increases your aim bons, you can get your BS pretty high.

I officially posited the question after the three of us were playing halo and he said he might. So it was actually the exact opposite of what you said. Thanks for trying to be a dick though.

Even if he did say "I don't think so..." (which he didn't) I would think "I told you no the other night fuckface" is better than ignoring someone. Good to know where u stand.
