In old SC D&D games italics were used for thoughts or inner monologue. I did the same here. If that's not good for the game, typical of the universe, whatever, just let me know and I'll leave it out for the remainder.

All of you know that thunderhawk gunships are very rare and hardly used, definately never just to transport a few troops and yourselves. The fact that you are riding means jermaine making a VERY large statment about his power and resources. Most imperium citizens and troops never even see one.

Mod, let us know WTF you're going to do one way or another. You've checked the forums every day and know we've started.

I'm holding off on posting until we know if he's going to do anything.

Seeing as how we are Inquisitors, are we kind of above given carte blanche when dealing with everyone else who isn't an Inquisitor?

you are not an inquisitor. However, you are working under one with his authority. So you have "Carte blanche" to a certian extent. These troopers have been assigned to your group it seems. So in the end you will be given more slack then a standard imerpial citizen, but you will still have to answer for any trouble you cause.

you are kind of like an FBI agent. You have more authority than a standard cop but are generally still bond by laws. the law here is much more judge dred style though. If your actions are justified you should be ok in the end.

What sort of sensors does the ship have? Is there anything to detect psychic emanations, or is that Librarian only territory?

Ok, couple questions. In the Star Trek universe USS ships follow a day/night cycle. Is that the case in 40K, or does everyone sleep in shifts and the ship is operating at 100% (hopefully) all the time?

On a tactical mission, who would be the HNIC. There is sometimes a seperate, specialized officer for combat situations.

Damnit, got a call. more later

This is not a normal transport ship, these ships are normaly launched from carriers in orbit and used as assault vechiles to deliver ground drops to the front lines or even behind enemy lines. so day night cycles are not going to be in effect here. On a normal deepspace craft some might simulate a Day/Night cycle, but they would always be operating at 100% unless they had some reason not to, or were a luxury vechile.

i am not sure what a HNIC is. But darent is your tactical officer and is in charge of the stormtroopers you have with you. He is not the pilot of this ship, that is a seperate crew that you two have had very little interaction with. Most of the menial task aboard any large space or ground vechile are handled by servitors. Servitors are humans who have had all personality removed and are normally more robot then human, they are normally non intelligent and have very specialized task they perform. Servitors are used for everything from writing books(think printing press), to cleaning, piloting (non combat), personal assistants, combat servitors exist normally they carry heavy weapons and are more of a self firing platform then anything.
StormTrooper Lore
Now your strom troopers are even more badass. They belong to the inquistion which means even more advanced training and they have been hand picked from the best of the stormtrooper legions.

While i am linking shit The INquisition
