So, a bunch of us have left AoC for multiple reasons.
One thing that is easy to see is that this MMO we were playing was really holding us together. Now that we don't have a game we're all dedicated to, I notice a lot less "On" time from our members then before (me included). I know some of you are still in love with Funcom's Polished Dump but the fact is, we have a bunch that are done with it.
With that said, I was wondering if you guys had an idea which MMO we should try next. I would like to have your input so we can discuss what should be our next move. (Global Agenda is a good game, but it doesn't seem to keep us together like a MMO did...)
We should IMO split this into 2 :
- Near future games (this year)
and
- Future games (next year and more).
This can be pretty much any games you would like to try out, and believe could keep us going as a group.

I would be welling to play EVE. I have tried eve before and liked it, but I think there are a few people in the guild that do not like it. I really don't see GA as a mmo but a 3rd person shooter with rpg elements in it. And GA is fun to play once and a while but I would like to find another mmo to play that everyone would be welling to play together and have fun playing it as a guild.

I'd add diablo 3 to future games and the dreaded halo reach to this year games. Neither are MMOs, but deserve mentioning.
Joe and I as friends have gone through this lull before. You just have to be willing to try some crap or something you wouldn't normally play. GA is a decent little game and I like it. I need to do some homework for MMOs though.
Also, Joe has family in town which is why he hasn't been on.

I'll give it a try of you're all playing it, but I'm not a fan of Halo.
Do you guys have any other ideas for Near Future Games? There is a nice array of games comming out next year, but what could be a good choice for now, while we wait for those.

Yes, my biggest concern is about the games we should be playing while we wait for those "Holy Savior of the Killing Death" MMOs comming out next year.
So IMO, we should either :
- Recruit more people in GA and do AvA. - Try out a MMO we all think could be fun for a couple of months. (Don't try to hide, I see your fat ass WoW...) - Play multiple games (Xbox, Shooters, etc...). - Play Heroes of Newerth and dominate. (/wink)

I don't know what heroes of Newerth is but I already know I prefer to try it over wow. We tried the wow thing during another aoc slump and it's just plain terrible. (the pet system for hunters is the best of any game out there, though)

Well here are my suggestion for are next mmo to play. But I don't think you guys well want to play them.
There are only two problem with this game right now -it is just going into closed beta. -and it is free to play. This might or might not be big problem.
I have sign up for the beta.
