Personally i think the races are pretty well developed. Not sure what you are looking for? What hurts feel of the races the most is the players. People continue to ignore anything that doesnt fit what they want to RP. When the vast majority of the populace ignores all of the lore behind their characters race so they can ERP with another character or act a certain way, it undoes all the previous development.

| I think if they add the tools to be a specific part of the race, it would go a long way to increasing RP of people.
True, you will always have the furry on pinky action, I don't think there is anything stopping that altogether. Huge adopted families just happen because people are people, and want to group up.
But it would help a lot if I could be "Marvok, a Gorbesh Barbarian," or" Koven, a Mountain Elf Cleric."
Maybe specific shops that sell basic race-themed items.
The whole "consent/report" thing notwithstanding, I would enjoy DR more if they added these things. I bet I would have liked DR Plat.

I agree the added racial messages would be nice, but here are alot of race-themed shops around already..

When the vast majority of the populace ignores all of the lore behind their characters race so they can ERP with another character or act a certain way, it undoes all the previous development. I agree with this mostly. Elven and eloth have so much lore in the game it's retarded. Humans seem to be bland, but better developed than most RP games given they're supposed to be generic. The big plus though is the accuracy and consitency. Kaldar and gnome have plenty of lore, it's just inconsistent and leaves the logicless players like Craetos windows of ambiguity to fuck it up. I hate that because I heart gorbesh, but kaldar really can't complain too much. Skra are right up there and have a ton of good lore. After that, pryd and rak have a decent amount of lore, it's just a little cliche and boring. You're tribal and were oppressed, go. Not bad but could use some TLC to beef it up. The real lack comes from Tog and halfling IMO. You're big and um...you're small. Stereotypical fantasy races that really lack the depth that people who play DR appreciate and desire. Race shops are all well an good, but black and white lore helps more. I'd love to see kaldar 'fixed' but think tog and half should come first.

| knife clan and i think tiger clan are both tog clans. arthe dale is a halfling city. and i am sure if we searched there would be plently of ingame lore and books on both races. | |

| Yeah, there is a decent amount of in game lore regarding the factions, but there is no real way to align yourself with these factions with a very significant word of mouth following of your activities.
They ALMOST did what I wanted with citizenship, but they stopped a bit short and only allowed the 5 provinces. If they had made it a little more diverse, I think it would have helped.
Any word on P6 yet? Any new areas released?

| none that i have heard of. It only took what 7 years for p5? i wouldnt expect p6 any time soon. Honestly the population is so small I am not sure another area would be a good idea right now. They have made alot of changes to murspai recently to make it more player friendly. | |
