Funny, I was thinking the opposite. No way we can fully experience the 3D movements with the Xbawks' controller.

PCs are gay pieces of shit that fuck life in the proverbial anus at any moment of its choosing. Fuck computers.

Console = the game will work
No drivers
No hardware updates
No software updates
Less mods
Easier communication
I can sit on my couch
The game is actually a finished product
Less loading

That being said, I have no problem playing a fps on PC, but no one has brought up a game worth dick. So so game gets trumped by PC hassle. $60 at gamestop also trumps so so game.

$30 warband quick whatever is more of where I'm at until something worth some excitement comes along.

You guys also know that if there's a game all four of u are playing, even if it's a, oh dear fucking lord, RTS, I'll likely play.

Please don't play an RTS...

I tried the demo for warband: It wasn't anything great; like darkfall which I think Joe said. I do think if there are consistent 64 man battles and we are playing together it could be fun, though.

I would vote for Diablo 2 over warband.

APB needs to hurry the fuck up and release.

I have played about 10 minutes of the Dawn of War II demo, it's an RTS but I can enjoy the space marines. Is this game set up where we can control armies and work together in PvP against other people? I guess really I need a rundown on what the PvP looks like all together. Fair warning, I both hate and suck at RTS's but am willing to give this a shot.

I am also willing to play diablo II, but that's pretty much gonna be pve the whole time right? I never actually finished the expansion back in the day, so I am down to roll a Druid and blow through it over warband if there are other takers. It would be cool if there was still a player community to pvp against, but my guess is that day has been long gone.

I watched the brink stuff and it looks kinda cool, but not worth the head ache of playing on PC. I'm willing to buy it on xbox to try out. If all four of you get it for PC and love it I might purchase it then.

Anything else to look at that I have missed?

we could run 3v3 or 2v2 pvp games in dawn of war. each player controls their own army and works against the other team. I suck at these but still enjoy it.

there is a 3 player horde mode that is fun.

and the campain can be played co op.

If you pick it up, i will play any of the above games with you.

There is still pvp in diablo 2. And i am up for it if you guys are.

I suck at RTS games but if you want to play Dawn of War II, I don't mind giving it another go. The 3-player Survival is nice (I played that more than the actual game...).

D2 is getting old but can still be fun.

Other than that... Have you heard of Heroes of Newerth?

so its offical we all suck at RTS games. that doesnt mean we cant have fun with it. I personally love playing them with friends, that way you can build up your armies and only attack when everyone is ready.

Quote :
DAoC continues to offer one of the best PvP systems of any MMORPG, and if players take the time to explore one or all of the three realms they will be rewarded with elaborate maps, satisfying graphics and a true variety in monsters. The DAoC community continues to be helpful, active and encouraging; plenty of guilds are happy to take both newcomers and returning players. If you are looking for a flawless UI, look elsewhere; if you want satisfying PvE, bring a few friends to the game. But if you are looking for fantastic PvP with a refreshing twist, definitely give DAoC at least a free trial download's worth of time
.

The above is from a re-review of DAoC. I've never played it, but considering I'm at 15+ for all the last stand classes of dawn of war II, I am looking around. I may try this just for shits and giggles. Come along if you'd like to shit and/or giggle with me.

I'm not done with any part of DoW II, but if u have everyone at 20 and no one plays retribution I can see last stand being old soon.

Why the retarded excitement at me mentioning DAoC? Have you tried it and think it's terrible? If so, let me know. I don't see how it's any more retarded of a mention than WoW. I guess you think Diablo II, warband, or champions blow this option out of the water? Seriously? If u have a different or in your opinion better idea, let's hear it. Diablo II seemed real close to happening and I can't for the life of me figure how that isn't a roflcopter in the same right?

Or are just giggling while playing textually on DR and the excitement is a about the potential giggles we'll share?

I haven't gotten into the pvp, but this game is awesome. 1) immersion: yeah ladies, you get a totally different level of character immersion when you aren't relying on mini maps, which are for fags.
2) fast download: you can be ready to play this game in about 1-2 hours
3) creative design that keeps players playing! After clicking the fourth window that will eventually lead you to a 'quit' option, I came to appreciate the depths the designers took to keep players in game, the likes of which I've only seen in a Vegas casino before.

All I've actually seen so far is that the designers have more balls than all of funcom, and an outdated game. A monthly payment is a joke, otherwise I'd put it on par with DDO.

Joe, you ignorant slut. Let the record show that I tried warband, DDO, and an RTS in the name of bettering digital fraternity. I also entertained Diablo II, DR, and a PC fps. Commendation not condemnation.

Also, did you miss the hot mess of sarcasm I was shooting? You always act like I'm going to get it in your hair.

I'd play around in AoC for free, but I'm not reloading the whole thing if the majority of us aren't playing.
