I know we have talked about this many times but here are my suggestions.

Black Ops, Halo Reach, Assassins Creed: Brother Hood, or Mount and Blade War Band.

Black Ops and Halo i think are the best options. They are pretty standard FPS games that dont require a lot of time and we can all easily jump into a game together. Games are quick and will fit our hetic schedules.

Assassins Creed: Brother Hood has online multi player and could be something cool and different. FPS Assassin style. But this could get old quick. I love the idea of it, i just dont know how it would turn out.

Mount and Blade is the closest thing in this list to a MMO. But I worry that like the orginal it will get very old very quick.

All of the above can be purchased at discounted prices. I talked with wes last night and he is willing to pick up any one of the above. I think the console games would be a better option right now. But will go with the majority on this.

So any other suggestions?

Not so sure about Assassin's Creed's multiplayer. Seems pretty weird.

I'd add League of Legends to the list since it's free and fun.

I already own Blops, Warband and LoL.

nevermind, league of legends looks like heros of norath. I hated it and think it is to much like and RTS for wes to enjoy. I could be wrong thought.

How about we do this.

Every one eliminate one choice from the list below.

league of Legends
Black Ops
Warband
Halo Reach

LoL is like Heroes of Newerth, but you guys did not listen to me in the first place when I told you to wait for me before trying the game, as you need to have some basic info before going in and I think you NEED to have a "mentor" of some sort if you've never played that type of game.

And for your little exercise:

League of Legends
Black Ops
Warband

looks like the choice is yours wes, unless randy swoops in for the win. Black Ops or Warband.

I'd personally rather try warband but would like to hear from Randy, or even krig if possible, before doing so. Also, Simon hasn't commented on if he still plays/likes warband. If he's over it that'd be a dumb move.

If neither of those guys say anything and Simon is still humping it, I remove black ops and vote warband.

I dont expect to hear from krig on this, he is pretty firmly rooted in AoC still. You might get an answer from randy. I am going to plan to buy warband on the 1st unless i hear differently.

I actually just cancelled my AoC account, though I may or may not get it back later. Too much group content with not enough groups available. Population is too low to support all the group content. Until they release the single player dungeon or the population doubles, I am not even trying. The few times pvp was running were fun as hell, but its too few and far between to justify the huge time sink where I could be doing something else. They've made a poor decisions about pvp time and again, and for now I can't stand giving them money every month until its somewhat fixed.

I'll look at the games and be back shortly.

EDIT: Unless you want black ops for PC, I am out. No XBox, PS3 only. Mount and blade looks alright.

Mount and blade it is. Oddly enough that title seems like a good fit for nicknames for Randy and Simon.

I don't have it either. My game is on Steam so I'm not sure I can upgrade it using EA's deal.

Anyway, we need to know if this is gonna work first... I don't mind playing the original game for now.

I've been playing the original, there aren't enough hardcore vietnam servers to keep me occupied anymore.

sidenote, Brink is going to be released May 17, and the more videos I see on it the more I think we should buy this one for xbox..
