| Joe and I are contemplating a (non-gay) cruise in august. Nothing definite, just throwing it out there.
Joe, is it feasible to port out or Miami?
The weekends in august begin on the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. Can u guys do the 12th? Can u do the 19th? The deal is that the later in the month the cheaper: 289, 269, 239, and 219 per person. So 1 option is a carnival cruise to the Bahamas the weekend of the 12th for $269 per person.
Cheapest non-Mexico destination I've found that's before school begins.

This reminds me I need to renew my passport. $261, but if Joe is comfortable letting you be a third roommate it would be cheaper for both.

| Randy, it's sounding like this may be a go, even for Simon. Anyway you can make it? Ditch that other cruise cause you know we'll buy you more alcohol. You can room with Simon, and he's Canadian so u know you can be the pitcher. | |

| So with Joey unable to buy the tickets until next month, I guess it's better to wait and see what will be available then? | |

| That depends. If everyone is for sure in and going, meaning you have your ticket purchased and forward me the receipt email, and Joey agrees to reimburse me regardless of circumstances, I'm willing to put his tickets on my credit card and him pay me in a month.
So that depends on you and him.

| I talked it over with my wife. The soonest we can purchase are tickets would be may 1st. Wes we appreciate your offer, but I dont feel comfortable with it. It is going to cost us approx 750 for the 2 tickets and two many things could go wrong in the next month and a half. I know you are worried that there are only 5 rooms left, but i doubt that is the case. Most likely they only release so many rooms at a time. to prevent over booking thru different websites. | |

- Do you have laser tag onboard?
Laser Tag is offered fleetwide (excluding the Carnival Spirit) a few times during the cruise in the main lounge for a fee of $5 and is charged to the guest's Sail & Sign Card. Guests will step in to the 32’ diameter arena wearing their gear (vest/phaser) and play against their opponents. Safe laser lights are shot from the phaser trying to hit their target which is on the opponents vest; chest, back, shoulders and the phaser. Final scores are printed and given to each player so they can compare their ranking and accuracy shots. Age requirements are 6 years of age and older.

| I was waiting to see when you were planning on picking up those tickets. I'll buy them around the same date, in case they were to be none left and we need to change date or whatnot. | |

No problem, I expected that, i just wanted to make sure everyone was still planning to go. If something comes up and someone is not able to make it, post here before the 15th. Otherwise i will order mine on the 16th and post a confirmation on here so you guys can grab yours.

| I found this today while checking prices. https://www.explorecruisetravel.com/navigate/cruises#1897it has rooms for $219, $70 this one even visits two islands instead of just one. Do we want to stick with the orignal cruise or take the cheaper route? Once again I will be ordering my tickets this Saturday. | |

| That link doesn't work for me. It depends on the cruise one for me. I'll pay $40 more for no food poisoning, a better ship, and less rocking. | |

| the royal caribbean is a larger ship. 3k+ pounds and 25ft I have no idea who has better food, or which one is in better shape. Also I am thinking it might be a good idea for us to meet up in skype this weekend to order the tickets as a group to make sure we get the same cruise. Anyone else think this is a good idea? if so what day and time. I am open all day sunday, saturday would have to be early morning like 9 eastern or late at night. also here are some good reviews of each ship http://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/review.cfm?ShipID=77 - royal caribbean http://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/review.cfm?ShipID=9 - Carnival | |
