This a cooperative RPG a la fable? Some mention of a mini game style of PvP but it was all very ambiguous. Don't see why this should get too much attention personally, so am I missing something?

it is a oblivion style RPG with multi player options. I have not seen much on how the multi player works but the fact that it is there means something.

But thought it deserved more then a quick write off. the fact that i dont have to pay 15 a month for it is a great motivator for me.

Yes, it seems to be pretty much like Fable. It seems to have a lot of content and stuff to do ( crafting for one seems like a pretty deep system ).

The thing that bothers me is that there is only 7 mini quests that you can do Co-op with 7 other player, the rest of the game is Single Player. Here's a passage from Co-Optimus's review :

Quote :
The co-op in Two Worlds 2 consists of seven mini quests that branch the story between the first game and the second - for the most part gameplay is identical to the single player but with the added strategy and chaos that comes from introducing seven other players into your game. I love seeing the variety of characters online: the game allows you to choose the race, sex, and general class of your character - it’s easy to differentiate people while playing online.

Teamwork seems essential, as these online chapters are quite difficult; and its nice to have a good balance of player classes. It appears as though the game scales the number of enemies depending on the number of players - which is a good thing. You can also easily split up across any area on the map, as there’s no tethering. Players share XP from kills, and it seems the host player sets the difficulty for the map, which makes it easy to power level your friends.

The only major problem I can find with the co-op is the inconsistent length of the missions themselves. While the first few might take 30 to 45 minutes each, the laters missions can take almost two hours each. Normally this wouldn’t be so bad...except that there’s no way to save mid mission.

I guess there's some Co-op fun to be had there, although no real PvP (only a Deathmatch mode I believe). It could be a "while we wait" kind of game but I'm not sure it has that amazing online content that will keep us playing it for months.

For Xbox, there's always Red Dead Redemption (I believe you have that one Joe) that has some Online Coop.

Otherwise, this is Co-op and not expensive... : http://store.steampowered.com/app/42910/

Other than that, there's always that game called Word of Ta... Alright I'm done here.
