I dont know if anyone here other than me every played planet side. But it was the best conceptual MMO i have every played. It featured a huge open world with 3 factions all fighting for control. Snipers, Mechs, Planes, infantry, trucks, four wheelers, Bases, hacking, sneaking, demoltion, parachuting, etc. It was a persistant gaint war zone spread over multiple worlds with LARGE maps and many capturable military bases. And now SOE is remaking it, due to release this year is Planetside Next(working title; no offical title has been released yet). I have often saide SOE needed to remake this title with updated graphics and it sounds like they are. I would link articles but there is not alot out there yet, but if you google planteside next you will find some info.
I will be giving this one a shot.
