fuckin game looks like wow with wooden swords

Every game other than AoC and GW2 looks like wow to me, except for eve which looked like a literal turd. At least it's not eve. The actual fluidity of combat was better than I thought it would be. I still pictured some kotor in there.

This game looks like shit.

Your inability to recongize that this game is going to be shit amazes me. You are normally so critical of games and the first person to be like fuck that its stupid. But we are all entitled to fanboi atleast one game and this is yours. I am saving my fanboi support for 40k dark millenium.

My fanboyness for this game begins and ends with I'm going to try it no matter what. You're greatly exaggerating my fanboyness because you see something wrong and I don't react. I'm not expecting this game to be amazing.

How many times have we said the graphics looks terrible? I'm not surprised anymore. After the first screen shots they released it looked like shit. It still looks like shit. Should I be bitching more? The same goes for the classes, the lore, the combat system, and on and on.

I expect this game to be wow with lightsabres and a better storyline questing experience. If you say something along those lines, I'm not gonna be surprised or ridiculously fed up. I saw the names of the classes and said "WTF? that all looks like horse shit." because it was new information.

I think you don't want to try this game, so don't. It hasn't released and it's already the worst game you've ever played. Don't feel forced to play it. I know I'm going to try it because I liked KOTOR, I like star wars, and bioware typically does a good job. You act like I'm sean going, "No way man, this game looks fucking awesome!?R!O!FL!" and I'm not.

Oh no doubt, but this does not mean I don't recognize the shit sandwich I'm eating. It just feels like I'm getting mod status for fanboying this game, and that's not the case.

Let's not be to hasty. Let's give this one the chance to actually finish the development process and hear more of the features it has before sending it to the trashcan.

hero engine was develeoped in the 90s
it was created for a game called heros journey
heros journey was cancled last year after over 10 years of develeopment
the developer has little experince outside of muds and 1 graphical game that did not use the hero engine.

so over 10 years and the only other person to use it failed to develop their game.

thereis a reason noone has every played a game that uses the hero engine.

That's what I'm saying. Not many people have played a game using this engine. So it would be talking shit to say it's a crappy engine, as it would be to say it's the best there is.

A company not finishing the development of their product is in no way a valid argument to say that the engine they used was total crap.

I'm not saying it's any good, I just can't say where it stands based on past releases... Since there was none using it.
