LoTR online free to play

Lord of the rings online is free to play starting sept 10.
It might have started early though.
Should we check this one out?

I hated that game more than WoW. I'm up for trying other games if it means getting your reach arounds back in the group, but LotR was trash.

i liked it better then wow, but wes had one of those i hate this game for all time moments about 10 minutes into the game. We all have em wes just chose Lotr for his.

I think we are sticking with wow until i commit suicide. I was thinking about swg yesterday, but halo reach comes out this month and should keep me occupied for a while.

I played Lotro when it first came out and played it only for about a month before I got bored with it. I gave it another go some months later but the same thing occurred.

The only real fun I had in Lotro was playing music in the middle of town... And I can go upstairs and play the piano if I wanna do that.

But if you all decide you want to play it then I'll reinstall it.

I don't love wow, but I don't hate it. I don't have as much play time as I did in grad school, so it doesn't have to be the best game ever ATM. I can do pvp or a dungeon relatively fast without much work.

Im willing to try LoTR, i've never seen any of the movies but it looks like a game we could all start off new in to keep us occupied for a while.
Im not sure on halo, I just have this phobia that only little kids will be on xbox live. I'll end up getting though.

there are alot of dumbass kids but there are lot of older people as well. Halo and CoD have millions if not billions of followers so you get a large mix.

BTW the free to play lotr is only the first 20 levels.

Wrong, that was the free trial of the game.
You can play to level 50, which is the cap.
