| I know Joe said it didn't intrigue him, but the group I play forum mafia with has made a mafia based forum for games. If you haven't tried it, I love it and now you can play on a forum not based on DR...which probably doesn't matter to most of you but yeah. So, big gulps huh?
Is krig dead btw? | |

I hate wow but not as much as i hate what AoC has become. I honestly thought i would miss aoc; i dont. It use to be that no matter what game i played i wished i was playing AoC. Now i just wish there was something better.

| Joe, take your last post and replace "aoc" with people; like mod or your wife. For some reason I am dying laughing. | |

| Most of the time, I am on my 20 ranger or 20 sin, playing seek and destroy on White Sands or Underhalls. 80 minis are still stupid most of the time, but some fun can be had at 39 and 59. Occasionally, there are enough people online that we can form a raid and do minis without worrying about 6 pvp 7+.
IDK, just something to do. I don't feel like starting a new game really.

IDK, just something to do. I don't feel like starting a new game really. I blame people like you for the down fall of aoc. I blame funcom, or at least the system they set up, and what it has evolved to today. The big PVP guilds with border kingdoms dominate bori, so they can get PVP 6+ gear, making those who don't have it outgunned. In addition, they nerfed open world PVP XP so much, its almost non-existent, and a poor way to attempt to level. It would be like if Canada attacked the United States. Sure, they both are large countries, but really a bunch of mounties singing "O Canada" have a snowballs chance in hell of actually accomplishing anything. People will do what is fun, and getting steamrolled over and over isn't fun. All of the gear at 20, 39, and 59 you can farm yourself, or get 1 80 to run you through, vs getting a full 24 man raid together to get 4-5 pieces of gear to share between everyone. Furthermore, you don't have to worry about people who have tons and tons of AA experience/time training if you are a fairly new lvl 80, and don't have to worry about being outgeared quite as much. Small guilds didn't have a chance, though with the advent of 6-man godslayers, it helps. I've got Void of Madness almost done on my DT, once that is done I will give 80s a shot again and see how it goes.

I've got Void of Madness almost done on my DT, once that is done I will give 80s a shot again and see how it goes. the system they setup up continues to evolve because players continue to pay their salaries. Canada doesnt have a snowballs chance in hell because the population of america is to heavily armed. Many leaders of other countries have commented before that they would never invade america because of the population. Same principal applies to aoc. if the population allows them to continue by renewing subscriptions they will, if they population says fuck you and stops their subscriptions they will either fail completely or quickly realize their mistakes and correct them. Either of those two options is acceptable

| I misunderstood the accusation, and responded incorrectly. I thought you were saying that me having level 20 toons and killing people in the starting area was the downfall of AoC.
I realize that my continued payment is what you meant, and I agree with your statement. But I do have some fun and am willing to put up with crappy end-game, until something better comes along.

Not at all. I fully support this. However, I think the fact that people feel the need to do this or even enjoy this morn then lvl 80 says alot about the game.
