Apparently the moon childs buff according to the phase of the moon.
Wes, remember the night we tried and thought how tough these mobs were. I read this on the official forums.
I thought this was a bug aswell, until a guildy of mine pointed out the moon child's buffs to me. They follow the cycles of the moon and you don't want to hit them while they are in Full Moon or waxing cycle otherwise they get a 10k evasion buff and will insta cast it once it runs out. so Melee has to run em off and try again.
