| If I were to actually care, U.S. of course. It seems like you can watch the last 5 minutes and catch most of the actual game. | |

| I was wondering if you guys cared at least a bit about soccer since the US were in it. Seems it's a NO! Haha! | |

| Here's the truth. I played soccer growing up and think it's pretty fun to play. I went down to the water front in my home town and laid some shut down defense on some soccer homos I know and they all were astounded that the meat-head football player knew what he was doing. It's fun to play, but I'd rather cut on my dick than watch it.
Two of my buddies, in the group aforementioned, wanted to watch the world cup in 2006 (maybe?). They were my good friends and America was in it so I watched with them. A guy gets taken out of the game on a stretcher from an injury. Same player, previously taken out on a stretcher, comes back in the game to score the winning goal. My friend comments, "See, soccer guys are tough. He was taken out on a stretcher and came back to score the winning goal!" I almost vomited on him, purposefully. My reply: "In football, if a guy gets taken out on a stretcher, we just hope he walks again."
It's 'soccer guy' that ruins the sport for me. Don't act like you're tough. You're a good athlete playing a nancy sport. Admit it and we're fine, but don't talk about how big and bad you are. Watching it, the pace is just too slow, and the moments worth watching are too few and far between. If I lived in europe and only had soccer to watch I'd riot, too. | |
