A post from the Game Director on the AOC forums today says that the Conq. are finaly going to get some love with next update. Plus there are a few other things that are coming with the update.

i dont have a conq, but the changes they making sounds so much like a captain in LOTRO. I had a captain and it was by far the best class to play. The micro management was alot, but man was it still fun. I might have to roll me a conq now
